Weekly Weigh In

Hello, December! This is me until the end of the month. I love every single thing about this time of the year!

I love turning on the Christmas tree in the afternoon while Emma is napping, I turn on a movie and just relax. It’s the time of day that’s just mine and I love it. Keeps me, well. Me.

Now that Emma is getting older and keeps herself entertained, I’m able to spend more time on the blog that I have been pretty neglectful of the last year and a half since she was born. I have big plans for 2016 and big plans for myself as well. No more “trying” to lose weight. It’s coming off and it’s staying off. I’m so done. Last week was full of family time, lots of dinners out and I counted 2 work outs for the week. While I have no regrets on how I spent Thanksgiving week, it’s time to reign things in a bit.

      They are!!
I have been going into the kitchen since it’s gated off, and she watches TV or plays toys. I can’t believe it’s working! I was actually able to do a 30 minute uninterrupted workout today.

You can do it! I was reading this article the other day about how the vast majority of people kind of give up on their ambitions and wait until Jan 1st to start resolutions – which is most often losing weight – but how Dec 1st can actually be a great time to start new habits. While eating healthier and finding time workout isn’t easy during the holidays, if you make that commitment this month, think about where you could be by Jan 1st! 🙂

SOOO true! I thought about waiting until Jan 1st, but I’m always waiting for something and I’m done feeling the way I have been feeling! Thanks for the support and encouragement 🙂
