Weekend Wrap Up {MIMM #1}

Some days I have time to get a blog post up in the morning, other days it’s like today, it’s nearly 2pm and I’m just now able to sit down.

Today, I’m linking up with Katie for Marvelous in My Monday

Friday night we went out to dinner at the Highland House for my sister in law’s birthday. We have lived in Michigan for over 20 years, this place has never changed. It’s delicious every time we go in, they are ALWAYS ALWAYS packed and you always know what to expect. Fabulous pizza, the best breadsticks on the planet and a greek salad that dreams are made of.

Saturday and Sunday we ran some errands, went to Church and had a big February birthday dinner last night with the whole extended family.

Marvelous is…having family near by to spend holidays and birthdays with

Marvelous is…being able to lounge around on weekends

Emma turned 10 months old yesterday, I’m still in denial that it’s almost time to plan her 1st birthday party. Out of 20 tries, this was the best picture I could get. It is near impossible to get her to sit still anymore.

Marvelous is…watching this sweet little girl grow up and experiencing it all over again since our older 3 are much older than her.

Question of the day: What was the highlight of your weekend?

    I love pizza and Greek salad. Actually my favorite pizza is from Mellow Mushroom and it’s basically pizza with Greek salad on top. My fave combo..
    My son is difficult to photograph as well. His 5 month birthday pictures are all over the place.

    Um that restaurant looks like high-class Olive Garden so I think I would fall head over heels in love with it. I haven’t ordered a pizza in forever! I’ve had it by the slice but there’s something about seeing a whole pizza coming towards you that makes you feel like a kid on Christmas, am I right? lol

      Pretty much, but it’s family owned. I just found out today that they also have a strictly carry out restaurant down the street from my house. Bonus. Yes, that pizza fresh out of the oven…it’s what heaven is like, I’m sure.
