Full of Wonder

Firs things first: Elf finding time! There must have been a lot of traffic leaving the North Pole, because Trixie was boring and landed on top of a lightbulb.

My 3 older kids were 12, 9 and 6 when Emma was born. Having a toddler around for Christmas again is so much fun, I forgot the pure wonder and joy that happens around this age (she will be 2 in April). While the older 3 are tons of fun and love Christmas as much as I do, there is just something magical about toddlers and Christmas…even when they are little touchers.

I was playing around with different settings on my camera last night and Emma was just standing there staring. It was perfection.

My day started off with raisin oatmeal topped with crunchy peanut butter and a mug of hot herbal tea.

And then I grabbed my weights, turned on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse for the toddler and I went into the kitchen and got my sweat on.

Lunch was leftovers from the night before: baked spaghetti and a few straggler green beans, so I added an extra cup of broccoli, because there’s no such thing as too many vegetables!

After school snack: More hot herbal tea and an apple pie Larabar.

Dinner (somehow unpictured, but I swear I took pictures of it…) BBQ chicken, broccoli, mac&cheese.
