Christmas 2014

This year was one of the best. I don’t have a specific reason or why, but it will go down as one of the most memorable in terms of pure happiness and joy.

We are in the middle of a home renovation, so there were 0 decorations at our house this year, not even a Christmas tree. For that reason, we decided to spend the days leading up to Christmas at my mom’s house. I mean, look at these decorations, how could you NOT want to be here?

For Christmas Eve this year, we had a movie marathon and watched whatever was on ABC Family and just spent time together. The kids put together a gingerbread house in the afternoon.

Then we ordered Chinese food for dinner, made cookies for santa, left out reindeer food and then crossed our fingers 4 kids would go to bed early.

This morning, everyone woke up around 8 and took the traditional stairs picture (cousins with Nana)

Opened presents and then more extended family and friends came over for dinner.

Nothing fancy or out of the ordinary, but still one of the best Christmases we have spent together.

I hope you and your families had the very merriest of Christmas Eve’s and Day’s!!
